DuVall Brumby Receives the 2007 Builder of the Year Award from the Home Builders Association

Homes By BrumbyOn January 22, 2009 the Homebuilders Association awarded DuVall Brumby with the 2007 Builder of the Year Award. Each year the Builder of the Year Award is presented each year to a Certified Professional Home Builder member of the HBA who has demonstrated a commitment to professional excellence. This award recognizes a builder for his or her contributions to furthering the goals and mission of the association through volunteer efforts within the association and the housing industry and through community and charitable programs.

DuVall Brumby is a native of Atlanta. Unlike many builders, he is credentialed in the area of construction. As a graduate of the University of Florida, School of Architecture, he holds a degree in building construction. With over 25 years of building experience, DuVall understands the importance of staying in touch with the latest quality building techniques and value engineering in building new homes.
DuVall has served on the Forsyth County Home Builders Association Board for over five years.  He served as president in 2002-2003 and as a state director for several years.  He is a founding member and the President of HomeAid Atlanta. In partnership with HomeAid Atlanta, he also served as a Builder Captain for HomeStretch, which supports homeless families with young children, and a co-Builder Captain for Genesis-A New Life, serving homeless families with newborns. DuVall is extremely dedicated to HomeAid Atlanta and its mission of building dignified transitional housing where homeless families and individuals can rebuild their lives. He has contributed many hours of his personal time serving as an ambassador for HomeAid Atlanta within the local community, and his intense devotion and passion have been key factors in helping HomeAid Atlanta progress toward achieving its vision of eliminating homelessness in metro Atlanta.

Additionally, Homes by Brumby maintains the Certified Professional Home Builder designation awarded by The Housing Institute, Inc. His homes have received numerous Professionalism Awards as recognized by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association. The professional staff at Homes by Brumby work diligently to insure strong customer satisfaction and a level of quality unsurpassed in the building business.  Brumby’s homes are known for their creative designs and quality construction.
